We met Kali & Jean-Paul last year. They were both in a bridal party of a wedding that we shot. During the reception, Kali pulled me aside and gave us a huge compliment by saying that she admired our work & was enjoying our company. During our conversation she asked if we would photograph her father’s wedding, and of course we were honored to do so! Since shooting her father’s wedding we have kept in touch with her, admiring her art. You HAVE to check it out, it’s beautiful, just like her! : )
Over the past few months Kali and I talked about how she would love to have more nice photos of her & her husband, Jean-Paul. I was super excited to hear this because we are big believers in keeping your life documented through the years, even when there is no “traditional” reason to take photos of yourselves. This is exactly what she wanted to do. We were so excited to be able to capture this time in their lives. They have been happily married for a few years now, and have big hopes of having children in the future. Every stage in our lives are so unique & important. We hope everyone will value this sort of shoot as much as we do.
