When scheduling our engagement sessions, we always ask the couple what sort of experiences are true and unique to them. We want to know what represents them and their love the best. We encourage them to brainstorm and let us know what their lives look like together as a couple. From there, we can come up with so many fun ideas for a session. Then, whatever it is that we do, we just treat the afternoon like a fun double date!
For Mel and Ben, an afternoon snuggling on the couch with their fur babies, grilling, hanging out on there beautiful back patio, and having a delicious dinner with a glass of wine is what they do best! So what better way to capture their true love then to spend an afternoon in their home doing these things with them?
After we all chatted and had a glass of wine, we ate their Delicious creations, and then they got dressed up all fancy to celebrate their engagement at one of their favorite places. They recently bought land that they will be building their future forever home on, and they couldn’t think of a better place to share more memories. Ben also proposed to Mel on their new property, so it was more than perfect that they have photos here. One day when they are settled in their home and have a little ones running around, they will have these photos to show them what they built from the ground up!
Mel and Ben, congrats on your engagement, we can’t wait to see you on your big day! We are so excited to share even more memories with ya’ll! And as soon as those walls go up, you can bet we’ll be there with our cameras to document that too! : )
