We first met Eric at Southern Stone Climbing gym a few years ago. Right away we noticed his love for climbing and the outdoors, which was so inspiring! Through the years we’ve also admired his passion and talent for nature photography. Check it out how great his work is here! Needless to say, when he asked us to photograph his wedding were were honored!
We were so busy the month of May, so we had very few dates to schedule Eric and Emily’s engagements. The one day we happen to have available was also Emily’s birthday. Thankfully, Emily is a super cool chic, and she was totally on board for taking engagement photos on her special day! We had a blast! Happy Birthday again Emily, we’re so happy to have spent your day with you!
We started off at Lagniappe Antiques, one of Eric and Emily’s favorite spots for date night. It was so cute to see them in their element, and it made for such fun and unique photos. After that we stopped at the home of Eric’s family, where we got some beautiful southern Louisiana style photos, then we headed to Eric’s family camp. The camp is on such beautiful land, and it’s right on the water. We had so much fun drinking a beer and riding around the property on the ATV. David even got to shoot a gun for the first time. What a wonderful day it was!
Eric and Emily, you are both such kind and sweet people, and your love for one another is undeniable! We are so happy for you and we cannot wait to hang out with you again! Thanks again for Trusting us with such a special moment in your lives!
