A little over a year ago we photographed Rachel and Hunter’s beautiful wedding, where from there we met there entire family, including Erin and Jake. We are honored to say that Erin and Jake’s wedding will be the third Judice family wedding that we’ll photograph, and we sure hope for more. They are the sweetest, and they make us feel like family more and more each time!
Erin and Jake actually came into town for another fun family wedding that we were photographing, so we thought I’d be the perfect time to photograph their engagement session. Well, someone else decided to come to town that same weekend, Hurricane Barry! Yikes, the forecast was looking pretty bad, but these troopers were ready to take on the weather if needed. We rearranged our time and location, and it all came out so perfectly!
We met up at Central Pizza and had some delicious pizza and a beer (or two) to help those in front of the camera nerves, and well, we think it worked! ; ) After that, we hung around downtown Lafayette for a bit, then headed over to the UL Alumni Center (since UL is where the two of them met). We ended the day at the UL Student union swamp area, where they have spent many fun days together. We really enjoyed trying to make Jake laugh for the photos, and as you can see, I think we succeeded! : )
