You know you’ve met a couple who are truly in love when you can’t stop smiling because they can’t stop smiling. When meeting Lizzy and Abe we couldn’t help but to notice how sweet and attentive they are to each other. They just look at each other and smile. It’s just the cutest thing! We knew their engagement shoot would be loads of fun!
When we mentioned photographing them at the Cajun Fast Track they were super excited because both of them love that sort of thing. (We do too!) Games & go karts? Heck yeah!
Since Lizzy and Abe live out of town, we knew we only had one chance to get the engagement shoot done when they came to town, and it was a sure thing that the weather couldn’t mess this one up because it was indoors, right? WRONG!
That day there were tornado warnings and flood flashes, the weather was just down right awful. But since the shoot was indoors we thought we’d brave it and head to Breaux Bridge. Just as we left, Lizzy noticed that it had just closed due to the bad weather. So, we did what any good photographer would do…we grabbed a cute umbrella and suggested that we go downtown to get some fun in the rain photos. These two are so fun and adventurous that they didn’t even think we had lost our minds. They were totally on board and we went with it. And thank goodness we did, these are some of our favorite photos to date! I mean, are these not the cutest smiles you’ve ever seen?!?
