Let’s start with how we met Rachel…she was just a cute young girl who had barely made it to double digits. David’s brother Matt had just met Mandi, his now wife of 15 years ♥️, and Rachel is Mandi’s little sister. Even though we’ve known her for 20 years, it is still such an honor that she asked us to photograph her wedding. We’ve watched her grow from a tiny twirler, to a grown woman who has accomplished so much, and we are so proud of the adult she has become!
A few years ago she brought Patrick to a family get together, and we met him for the first time. He had the kindest demeanor, and a great laugh! He is a true gentleman, and is proof that chivalry still exists! The way he looks at Rachel is just adorable. We totally approve, and are so happy to have him as part of the family!
Rachel has been dancing her entire life, and now runs her own dance studio. Patrick has definitely learned some great dance moves from her, and the two of them dance around life having a blast together. It’s just the cutest thing! So, for their engagement session we didn’t even have to ask them to dance, it just came naturally! We took a stroll around one of their favorite areas in Baton Rouge, then headed to the levy and LSU campus where Rachel attended collage. The shops on Government street (especially the Hair & Art Company), and the architecture of the LSU campus are all so beautiful. We had so much fun on our little double date with them!
Patrick, we couldn’t have asked for a better man for Rachel! We are so happy for you two, and we cannot wait to share your big day with you!
