Victoria is my 4th cousin, so I have watched her grow from a cute little bebe into a sweet and beautiful young woman. I have had the honor of seeing her each year at our family reunions. When I would see her she was usually very quiet, so I haven’t had a lot of quality time to really get to know her. But, when we found out that she was getting married and she wanted us to capture her wedding, we were so excited! We couldn’t wait to meet the man that had swept her off of her feet!

A few months later, Shea and Victoria stopped by our studio to chat about their wedding plans. We immediately fell in love with Shea. The two of them just fit so perfectly together. That quiet young lady opened right up, and we got to know the both of them so well in just a few short hours. Shea has such a cute sense of humor, and Victoria loves a good laugh! The way they just get one another is super admirable. It’s seems that they can just look at each other and know what the other is thinking. We love it!

They both grew up in Crowley, LA but have since moved to Austin, TX. For their engagement photos, they wanted to go back to the small town where they met (which is a super cool story so keep reading!) Victoria was performing in a play on the same stage in the photos below (the Grand Opera House), knowing that her blind date was watching and waiting right there in the seats in front of her. After the show they grabbed dinner, and now she’s back on stage with Shea but this time with a ring on her finger! What confidence! We can totally see why Shea fell in love with her that very moment!

But Shea and Victoria did not come to the engagement session alone, they brought their little side kick with them. Bear is their tiny Yorkie that goes everywhere they go, so engagement photos without him just wouldn’t represent who they are! And we were super stoked about it because who doesn’t want to see cute pups in photos???

We started off at the best coffee shop around, The Vanilla Bean, then wandered around downtown under rainbows, then took a trip down memory lane to the Grand Opera House to relive some of their first moments together!

Just see for yourself how cute this trio are! We are so happy for these three, and we can’t wait to see what life has in store for them! Congrats Shea and Victoria, we can’t wait to share another special day with you guys!
