As he stood on the alter, there was a gleam in his eyes. An anticipation that he had never before felt. Things were not going as planned, but there was such a sense of calmness in the way he handled himself. Soaking in every minute of it, Andrew knew that this was a day that he’d never forget. Soon, the church doors opened, and in walked the love of his life. Liana and Andrew locked eyes immediately. It was as if time stood still in that moment. THIS was their day, and nothing could stop it from being their best day ever. And it was, it was perfection! Two beautiful souls, promising their love to one another for eternity.
You see, just hours before, Liana and Andrew were planning to attend their wedding rehearsal and have a nice dinner with family before their big day. But, nature had other plans. They were told that the church may be closed the next day due to a hurricane that was said to hit right at the time they were supposed to say, “I do”. So, without much hesitation and the help of their amazing wedding planner Pamela at Love and Honey Event Planning co., they turned their rehearsal into a wedding! They quickly got dressed and made it all happen. None of this kept them from enjoying every moment of it. It was simply perfect, and the look on their faces when they signed the marriage license allowed us to take one of the cutest photos we’ve ever taken!! (Really, scroll to see for yourself!)
The following day, even more threats of Hurricane Barry started to come, but Liana’s family had traveled all the way from New York, and were not letting anything stop them from celebrating!
So, they moved their reception time up and rolled with it. The Madison Banquet Hall could not have been any more helpful and perfect. The details that were put into this day by all were phenomenal! Rachael and her team at Ray Ray Bakes created a cake table that was out of this world, and the flowers from Les Amis made everything look like it was straight out of a fantasy. And, let’s not forget the delicious coffee from Reve Coffee Roasters that everyone enjoyed! : )
