Before we ever met Anna and Colin all we knew about them was how “cool and super chill” they were. How they loved adventure, and loved people. We run in the same social circle, so this sentiment was reiterated over and over again. And it was totally true! From the moment we met them they felt like old friends. It might be because we’ve heard so many stories about them…but more likely it’s that they radiate good vibes!
After an awesome engagement shoot and a rainy day bridal shoot, we were really excited for wedding day to come around. The day started at Anna’s parents house surrounded by friends and family (and our favorite videographers from Apercu Films!). After, Anna and the crew jumped in a trolley and headed to the always beautiful Rip Van Winkle Gardens! As the sun set behind them, Anna and Colin recited their vows (a few tears may or may not have been shed in the process) and had their first kiss as husband and wife. It was a perfectly picturesque moment in time. A moment that Anna and Colin will remember for the rest of their lives. And in that moment we just knew the day couldn’t possibly get any better….but then we hit the non stop dance party of a reception and realized how wrong we were.
The rest of the night was a blur of love and laughter. Of friends and family coming together and having the time of their lives. All wrapped up with a ribbon send off. Anna and Colin truly are wonderful people, and it was such and amazing day! We can’t wait to hang out with them again!
