Sagie and Olivia did things a tad differently. They wanted a sweet and simple wedding ceremony, and with scheduling etc, they decided to have their ceremony before their engagement session. Their ceremony was so sweet and intimate, and if you missed it, check it out here. It was one of the most unique ceremonies we have had the pleasure of photographing, and we think more couples should do something like this. It was so simple, yet so beautiful!
So a week after their ceremony, we met them at their home in New Orleans. Sagie & Olivia have just bought a house, so they knew they would be moving soon, and wanted to capture a few last memories in the home that they had shared so much life together. We started off making specialty cocktails. They used a recipe for a Lemon Basil cocktail, but tweaked it just a touch, adding Topochico to add the perfect amount of refreshing crispness! After they bar tended for us, we all sat and relaxed while chatting and enjoying our cocktails. This definitely helped to ease their nerves of being in front of the camera, and was just so fun to hear stories of their lives together. Afterwards, we took a little stroll around their Neighborhood, and even met a new kitty friend that seemed to really love these two. It’s too bad they are moving soon!
Then, we jumped in our cars and headed to New Orleans City Park. It’s definitely one of the most beautiful spots in New Orleans. We strolled around chatting and stopping at some of the most beautiful spots. Watching these two have so much fun with each other was just so dang cute!
